Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By subscribing to or using any services provided by Geofiber Broadband & Internet Services ("Geofiber," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Description of Services

Geofiber provides broadband internet access services, including fiber optic internet, business connectivity solutions, and network infrastructure services. Service availability, speeds, and features vary by location and plan.

3. Service Availability

We strive to provide uninterrupted internet service. However, we do not guarantee that our services will be available at all times. Service may be temporarily interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, or circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, and equipment failures.

4. Customer Obligations

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when signing up for services.
  • Use our services in compliance with all applicable laws and our Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials and promptly notify us of any unauthorized use.
  • Allow reasonable access to your premises for installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
  • Pay all fees and charges associated with your service plan in a timely manner.

5. Equipment

Any equipment provided by Geofiber (such as routers, optical network terminals, or other devices) remains the property of Geofiber. You are responsible for the care and return of such equipment upon termination of service. Unreturned or damaged equipment may result in additional charges.

6. Speed and Performance

Advertised speeds represent maximum potential speeds and are not guaranteed. Actual speeds may vary based on network conditions, equipment capabilities, number of connected devices, and other factors. We make commercially reasonable efforts to deliver speeds consistent with your service plan.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Geofiber shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the services during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate service with thirty (30) days written notice. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate service immediately if you violate these Terms of Service or our Acceptable Use Policy. Early termination fees may apply if you are under a term commitment.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms of Service or your use of our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules, unless prohibited by law.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated to you at least thirty (30) days before taking effect. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
